Life at CCM: Student conductor takes the lead on stage

CCM Voice student receives Encouragement Award at prestigious Houston Grand Opera Competition

UC College-Conservatory of Music undergraduate Voice student Sam Dhobhany recently won the Ana Maria Martinez Encouragement Award in Houston Grand Opera’s 2024 Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers. Dhobhany, a bass-baritone in the studio of Professor Ken Shaw, competed in Houston on February 2 during the “Concert of Arias,” the competition’s live-broadcasted final round.

Know Theatre and CCM co-produce "The Light Chasers" world premiere

CCM Opera brings harrowing myth to life in 'The Rape of Lucretia'

The opera, one of the masterpieces of the English repertoire, runs Thursday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Nov 19 in the Patricia Corbett Theatre. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.

Cincinnati Magazine: What colleges learned from the pandemic

Determined to make this performance happen, faculty and students adapted to create a virtual performance entitled, “Wake Up,” in which newcomers were featured monologues and performances shot in various locations across Cincinnati.
