UC’s College-Conservatory of Music offers dozens of different general studies and arts elective courses in fall 2021. These credit-granting courses are open to all UC students and cover a wide range of topics including dance, movies and media, music and theatre arts! Course offerings include options for in-person and online instruction.

The second episode of CCMONSTAGE Online is now available for on demand viewing. Originally broadcast on Friday, Feb. 12, this 30-minute-long virtual concert features CCM string quartet-in-residence the Ariel Quartet collaborating with master’s degree students Cristian Diaz and Denielle Wilson, who are also both second-year participants in CCM’s innovative Diversity Fellowship initiative with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Earlier this month, the University of Cincinnati’s Graduate Student Government recognized the College-Conservatory of Music’s Graduate Student Association (GSA) with its GSA of the Year award. This award recognizes the outstanding contributions that the group has made to the quality of graduate student life within the CCM and UC communities. This year’s GSA consists of Maria Seffrin, president; Caitlan Truelove, vice president; Muning Wang, secretary; and Matt Coffey, treasurer. The Graduate Student Government also recognized Truelove with the Graduate Student Award for Exemplary Scholarship.

The Wind Symphony at UC's College-Conservatory of music reunites on the Corbett Auditorium stage to present a socially-distanced virtual performance. Led by Director of Wind Studies Kevin Michael Holzman, the concert features works by Kevin Day, Andrea Tarrodi, Samuel Barber, Joaquin Rodrigo and Richard Strauss.

The United States Coast Guard Band brings its "Heartland Harmonies" concert tour to UC's College-Conservatory of Music on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. The free concert is presented in Corbett Auditorium as part of the band's tour through the American South and Midwest regions for public performances and educational outreach.

Available only to alumni of the Sphinx Organization, these competitive grants are intended to “empower artists’ careers.”

UC’s College-Conservatory of Music is delighted to announce that two of its alumni reached the finals of the Lotte Lenya Competition, one of the most prestigious vocal competitions for young artists. Victoria Okafor (MM Voice, ’21) and Max Chernin (BFA Musical Theatre, ‘12) were chosen to compete in a final round of 15 vocalists out of a record applicant pool of over 500.
