The show goes on with CCMONSTAGE Online beginning Dec. 11! Enjoy excerpts from the first four episodes of CCM's new digital performance series in our official teaser trailer. CCMONSTAGE Online is a dynamic new series of digital concerts and performing arts presentations showcasing the unparalleled artistry and expertise of CCM's students, faculty and staff. Each episode can be digitally streamed for free. After the premiere broadcast, each installment in this ongoing series will remain available for on-demand viewing on CCM's website and YouTube channel.

CCM’s streaming concert series continues on Feb. 12

The second episode of CCMONSTAGE Online is now available for on demand viewing. Originally broadcast on Friday, Feb. 12, this 30-minute-long virtual concert features CCM string quartet-in-residence the Ariel Quartet collaborating with master’s degree students Cristian Diaz and Denielle Wilson, who are also both second-year participants in CCM’s innovative Diversity Fellowship initiative with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Watch the full episode here. The performance is also available on CCM's YouTube channel and Facebook page, and also via the Violin Channel.

Watch the CCM Philharmonia's Sept. 20 performance

In addition to the CCMONSTAGE Online series of digital concerts and performing arts productions, the UC College-Conservatory of Music is also presenting virtual performances through its CCMONSTAGE Archives companion series. Our newest installment in this ongoing series features the CCM Philharmonia student orchestra performing Antonín Dvořák's Serenade for Wind Instruments, Op. 44 (1878) and Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 103 in E-flat Major, D. 944 (“Drumroll”) (1795). Led by Director of Orchestral Studies Mark Gibson, this archival performance footage was recorded in Corbett Auditorium on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020.

CCM Doctoral student chosen to judge international violin competition

March 3, 2021

Junqi (Sophie) Tang, current DMA Violin student at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music was recently invited to serve on a distinguished panel of judges for the 2021 Hong Kong International Violin Competition and Chamber Music Competition. Sponsored by the Asia Musicians Association, the competition attracts performers from all over the world including Germany, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Russia and more.

Award-winning violinist Kristin Lee joins CCM's faculty

April 22, 2021

UC College-Conservatory of Music Dean Stanley E. Romanstein has announced the addition of acclaimed violinist Kristin Lee to the college’s roster of distinguished performing and media arts faculty members. Praised by the likes of The Strad, The Washington Post, New York Classical Review and more, Lee’s appointment as Assistant Professor of Violin begins on Aug. 15, 2021.

CSO and CCM announce 2021-23 class of Diversity Fellows

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) have selected five outstanding musicians for their next class of CSO/CCM Diversity Fellows. Born out of a mutual desire to help American orchestras become more inclusive and better represent the communities they serve, the performance fellowship program was launched in 2015 and continues with a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
