Classical guitar students give performance on WGUC

Cincinnati Public Radio WGUC 90.9 invited UC College-Conservatory of Music classical guitar students Wesley Weidig and Luke Jackson to give a live performance in the radio station’s Corbett Studio in December. The performance is now available on WGUC’s Clef Notes blog.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra recently announced that longtime donors Ashley and Barbara “Bobbie” Ford made a major gift to endow the orchestra’s assistant conductor chair, currently held by UC College-Conservatory of Music alumnus François López-Ferrer (BM Composition, ‘12).

The University of Cincinnati’s annual DAAPworks event highlights the creative output of each year's graduating class at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. With social distancing measures and the university’s remote learning in effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's DAAPworks has evolved from an in-school live exhibition to a digital event with the same goal of showcasing DAAP's graduating seniors’ achievements.
