Innocence Project Marks First Successful Prisoner Release

An man imprisoned for the last 25 years in Ohio has earned his parole, thanks in large part to new evidence developed by UC law students working on the Ohio Innocence Project that raises major doubts as to whether he had any involvement in the crime in the first place.

Law School Plans Women's Conference On Law And Social Change

January 18, 2005

The conference, "Women Coming Together," is sponsored by the Ford Foundation and will provide opportunities to develop new strategies, expand and enhance coalitions, and share ideas about how to claim the law as a vehicle for social change. The focus will be on women's health and well-being.
