MATLAB now available to UC students, faculty and staff

The University of Cincinnati now offers access to MATLAB technical computing, Simulink model-based design and more than 100 additional industry-standard software tools. The license provides UC students, faculty and staff members anywhere access to MATLAB software, support and technical assistance in a centralized UC MATLAB portal.

ShareIT awarded Inclusive Leadership Challenge Grant

MyDesk virtual desktop maintenance set for March 16

March 15, 2023

MyDesk virtual desktop (vDesktop) service, including remote access to many of the software options available in on-campus computer labs, will be unavailable from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 16, during a planned maintenance window. The update will improve virtual desktop performance, reliability, and security.

Select IT services and systems will be unavailable from 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, to 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 8, during a planned power outage in the university’s primary Data Center. Many commonly used cloud-hosted services will be available.
