A new botanical survey of southwest Ohio found that invasive species introduced to the United States over the past century are crowding out many native plants. They found that many species purposely introduced as landscaping plants are flourishing in the wild.

CCM professor’s compositions featured in concert:nova performance

UC College-Conservatory of Music Composition Professor Michael Fiday will be celebrated in a retrospective program presented by concert:nova, a Cincinnati-based ensemble dedicated to innovative performances. The University of Cincinnati is committing $12 million to grow inclusive excellence by leveraging diverse perspectives to advance innovation, creativity and complex problem solving in biomedical research. The new program, FIRST+ Lives Here for Urban Health, aligns with the National Institutes of Health’s FIRST (Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation) Program and advances the university’s Next Lives Here strategic direction.
