UC student groups slated to present at engineering expo

Each year, senior students at the University of Cincinnati's College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) showcase their capstone projects at the CEAS Expo held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. The event features projects that range from medical devices, formula style vehicles, robots, progressive research experiments, interactive products and more. Past winning projects include a robotic blackjack dealer, a working t-shirt cannon, solar energy solutions and a double-arm prosthetic, to list a few.

Global students thriving at the University of Cincinnati

With a new class of 1,543 for fall 2023—just 4 students short of last fall’s record-smashing intake—the University of Cincinnati’s international enrollment has reached 4,899 students, or 9.6% of the student population. It’s the highest number in UC’s history, up 15% from last year, due in part to UC's strong support for international student success.

Spring break renaissance: Makerspace becomes haven for innovation

After opening the space during "Maker Break," UC faculty and students populated the 12,000-square-foot prototyping and fabrication haven in a win-win opportunity, acquiring machine certification and the time to complete their senior capstone and passion projects.
