Cases of monkeypox are on the rise around world, reaching more than 67,000, including more than 25,000 in the United States. The study, published in the journal Criminology, examined county-level data from 2000 to 2015 in the U.S. to analyze the relationships between immigration and deaths from drug overdoses and homicides.
