Healthline: Flu and RSV cases are rising, here's when they may peak

Cases of respiratory illnesses, including the flu, COVID, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), are spreading rapidly across the United states. The latest influenza report report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released Friday shows that, in the past week, over 20,000 people were admitted to the hospital with the flu. Remembering Jimmy Nippert

2024 is the 100th anniversary of Nippert Stadium on the University of Cincinnati campus. The stadium is named for Jimmy Nippert, a UC football player who died in December of 1923 after suffering an injury that got infected during a game the previous month.
