UC Clermont celebrates record-breaking $700K in scholarships awarded

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College celebrated more than $700,000 in scholarships awarded for 2023-24 during the annual Partnership and Scholarship Celebration held March 28 on the college’s Batavia campus. The amount is the highest in scholarship funding ever awarded in one academic year by UC Clermont.

UC students' cryptocurrency advice leads to big gains

Using recommendations from University of Cincinnati students, a cryptocurrency fund has grown from $50,000 to more than $120,000 in less than 15 months. As part of an economics course, Economic Applications of Blockchain, UC students are challenged to research potential cryptocurrency investments for a fund owned by UC’s Kautz-Uible Economics Institute.

AtriCure is top co-op employer for UC biomedical engineering students

As one of the largest co-op employers in the region and a leading provider of innovative technologies for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation and other related conditions, AtriCure, Inc. is also one of the largest co-op employers for students at the University of Cincinnati. In fact, they are the number one co-op employer for biomedical engineering students at the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Co-op is integrated into all CEAS undergraduate programs, enabling students to alternate semesters in the classroom with semesters of full-time, paid, co-op work.
