The CCM Wind Symphony closes their 2023-24 season with “Urban Requiem,” a concert that contemplates the complex emotions of endings while celebrating the life-affirming sounds of a big band. Joined by the members of the Hinotori Saxophone Quartet and the Lakota East High School Winds, the Wind Symphony’s final concert features Michael Colgrass’s “Urban Requiem,” for four saxes and wind orchestra and Steven Bryant’s blockbuster “Concerto for Wind Ensemble.” Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.

The 70th anniversary DAAP Fashion Show was celebrated on April 28, at the MegaCorp Pavilion in Northern Kentucky. This show, which sold out to almost 1000 attendees, ran in conjunction with DAAPworks, which celebrates the creativity of the graduating Class of 2023.

This year, 80 UC students, mainly from DAAP and the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, used the Makerspace to construct products including bicycle parts, furniture, a chicken coop and tote bags.
