New sports wagering activities policy effective with new academic year

Board approves sports wagering rule for employees, students, volunteers and independent contractors

At its August 2023 meeting, the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees approved a new conduct and ethics rule regarding sports wagering.  The purpose of the new rule is to promote and maintain the integrity of UC’s Division 1 athletics program and competition.  The new rule is effective immediately.

Lawrence Sapp, second-year UC student will compete in the Paralympic swim competition in late August.

ESPN+ streaming showcases CCM student work

This year, students at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music are producing live, multi-camera coverage of UC Athletic events for the new ESPN+ subscription-based streaming service. CCM E-Media students shared their first broadcast on Nov. 9, 2020, and have produced nine sports broadcasts in total so far.
