The CCTST s Pilot & Collaborative Studies (PCS) core has announced $1.3 million in FY2013 awards to facilitate T1 research. T1 (Translation 1) research seeks to apply clinical or basic research knowledge in an identifiable pathway toward the development of trials and studies in humans.

Past Dean Portraits Find New Home in MSB

A nondescript hallway between Kresge Auditorium and the Winkler Center for the History of the Health Professions has been transformed into a portrait gallery of nine past deans of the College of Medicine. The portraits have been in storage since 2004 when they were taken down in preparation for the construction of the CARE/Crawley Building and the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) rehabilitation project. While work continues elsewhere in the MSB, the short hallway off the E-Level main corridor was finished and ready for adornment.

UC Health Offering Free Hearing Screenings May 2 4

As part of Better Hearing and Speech Month, UC Health audiologists will offer free hearing screenings from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at the West Chester Physicians Office and Thursday, May 3, at the Clifton Physicians Office. Screenings will be offered at both locations from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 4.
