People with migraine who also battle allergies and hay fever (rhinitis) endure a more severe form of headaches than their peers who struggle with migraine, but aren t affected by the seasonal or year-round sniffles, according to researchers from the University of Cincinnati (UC), Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University and Vedanta Research.

UC Health Appoints New CEO

UC Health has appointed Richard (Rick) Lofgren, MD, MPH, as president and CEO of UC Health, effective Dec. 2. Lofgren is both a physician who is board-certified in internal medicine and an experienced health care administrator. He succeeds Jim Kingsbury, who announced his retirement in May.

Electric Car Charging Station Preparations Underway

Preparations are underway at the southwest corner of Wherry Hall, across from Eden Garage, for an electric car charging station. The station, and a similar one at Clifton Court Garage on the west campus, will be equipped to provide power for many mass-produced electric vehicles.
