Goering Center announces new Director of Programs & Marketing
The University of Cincinnati’s Goering Center for Family and Private Business is pleased to announce its recent hire of Kamela Barrier, who joined the Center as Director of Programs & Marketing.
Barrier comes to the Goering Center with over 25 years of marketing and program management experience. Her previous experience includes professional and financial services, as well as manufcturing and sales in small, privately owned and mid-sized businesses. Barrier also served in the United States Air Force.
“I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to serve our business community,” said Barrier. “I am passionate about the mission of the Goering Center and look forward to being a part of a team that impacts our business community in such a significant way.“
Carol Butler, president of the Goering Center, adds, “We are delighted to have Kamela join our team — she brings with her a track record of success that will continue as she further develops the Center’s growing programs and innovates our branding and marketing messages. Jim Bax — who has been a great contributor in the role of Program Director — will be shifting to a part-time role over the next few months. He plans to spend more time with family and friends while continuing to support the Center.”
