UC awarded Purple Star again for Veterans Programs & Services

The designation is awarded by the Ohio Department of Higher Education, with eligibility determined by the Ohio Purple Star Advisory Board. Engineering graduate training for MLB draft

Engineering professor awarded for STEM research

T. Douglas Mast, PhD, professor of biomedical engineering, has been at the University of Cincinnati for more than two decades. Leading the Biomedical Acoustics Laboratory at the College of Engineering and Applied Science, he and his team investigate a multitude of diagnostic applications including ultrasound for thermal ablation, drug delivery, and speech and swallowing disorders. He was awarded the 2025 UC STEMM Distinguished Research Professor Award for his research impact.
