The U.S. Senate votes to rename NASA's Plum Brook Station for Ohioan Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon. Armstrong taught aerospace engineering in UC's College of Engineering and Applied Science.
Mars rover mission has UC connections

UC geology professor Andy Czaja will serve on the NASA science team that will use the autonomous rover Perseverance to look for evidence of ancient life on Mars. The rover is expected to touch down on Mars on Feb. 18.
