Two alums who have risen to the top of their fields -- William M. "Mickey" Barker, chief justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court, and Melany Stinson Newby, vice chancellor for Legal and Executive Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison -- will be honored at the UC College of Law's Spring Alumni Luncheon on April 21.

Stanley M. Chesley, one of the nation's most prominent attorneys and a University of Cincinnati alum, has endowed a professorship at the UC College of Law that will allow the college to attract outstanding law scholars from around the nation and the world as visiting professors.
