WVXU reporter Michael Monks spoke to UC faculty members, Dustin Calhoun, MD, and Louito Edje, MD, for a Cincinnati Edition story discussing the process for COVID-19 vaccination in Cincinnati and hesitancy that some residents have in receiving that protective measure. Ohio residents age 65 and older, school employees and people with medical conditions that put them at high-risk will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in about two weeks.

UC research produces different results from key China COVID-19 investigation

Early in the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, a small study in China produced results that influenced subsequent research on the virus. Researchers at the University of Cincinnati used the same study parameters on a much larger patient population and reached completely different findings. The study was published in the journal Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases in mid-July.

Examining stroke treatment for people with disabilities
