Before he was Cincinnati’s most sought-after barber, counting professional athletes and performers among his clientele, and giving motivational speeches to rooms full of local youth and cosmetology students — he was a struggling kid from Middletown, Ohio, searching for direction.

This year, students at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music are producing live, multi-camera coverage of UC Athletic events for the new ESPN+ subscription-based streaming service. CCM E-Media students shared their first broadcast on Nov. 9, 2020, and have produced nine sports broadcasts in total so far.
