Students get a ‘Jumpstart’ on their careers in Dallas

Students from Carl H. Lindner College of Business’ Jumpstart program — a pipeline between UC Blue Ash and the business college that provides students with additional support toward transitioning into a bachelor’s degree program — experienced a whirlwind visit to Dallas during spring break 2024.

Lindner to launch universal co-op program

Beginning in fall 2023, the Carl H. Lindner College of Business will roll out a new universal co-op program. Once implemented through a phased approach, all undergraduate students will be required to complete a baseline of two co-ops, with the minimum number of experiences needed depending on the students' specific circumstances.

Lindner welcomes new assistant dean of Career Services

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business has tabbed Sandra English, JD, MPA, as its new assistant dean of Lindner Career Services. English will provide leadership and direction in support of Lindner’s cooperative education mission and goals.

Lindner first-year students pilot co-op requirement

The onset of the 2023-24 academic year at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business ushered in the first phase of the college’s universal co-op program rollout. Beginning with the current fall semester, universal co-op became a voluntary, opt-in requirement for traditional, first-year students.

2022-23 Lindner graduates secure jobs at record rate

October 6, 2023

For the third successive academic year, Lindner undergraduate and graduate students achieved new records for job placement post-graduation. Within three months of graduating from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and the University of Cincinnati, 93% of 2022-23 undergraduate students secured employment, a 6.5% increase since 2018. The placement rate for graduate students (98%) was even higher.
