Emily Baxter, fine arts senior in UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, spent her co-op working for RARECulture, a New York-based design firm, but worked right here in the Queen City creating wall plaques and historical designs for the region's new sports venue: TQL Stadium, home of major league soccer team FC Cincinnati.

The second episode of CCMONSTAGE Online is now available for on demand viewing. Originally broadcast on Friday, Feb. 12, this 30-minute-long virtual concert features CCM string quartet-in-residence the Ariel Quartet collaborating with master’s degree students Cristian Diaz and Denielle Wilson, who are also both second-year participants in CCM’s innovative Diversity Fellowship initiative with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Two UC College-Conservatory of Music alums from the college’s theatre arts division come together to create a new Broadway musical. Jessica Hendy (BFA Musical Theatre, ‘93) and Richard Oberacker (BFA Acting, ‘93) are currently collaborating on With Becket, a one-woman show staring Hendy.

Isaí Jess Muñoz (BM Voice, ’01) has found success as both a performer and an educator since his days at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music. After receiving a master’s and a doctoral degrees from Manhattan School of Music and Stony Brook University, he became an Associate Professor of Voice and Opera at the University of Delaware and the Vice President of the National Opera Association. Now, he is releasing his first solo album in over a decade with pianist Oksana Glouchko.
