University of Cincinnati Family Weekend has attracted more than 3,100 participants, nearly twice what was expected, for events designed to introduce families to university life. The UC game versus Temple University, game pep rallies and a slate of activities planned Saturday and Sunday are part of the weekend agenda.

Members of the UC marching band travel to the Cotton Bowl to perform as the fourth-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats take on top-seeded University of Alabama in a College Football Playoff Appearance. Band members spoke with Cincinnati TV stations about their chance to play during a historic moment in sports history for UC.

University of Cincinnati student body leaders have taken on a full slate of undergraduate activities, including classes, studies, Bearcats games and leading student government for UC. Elected as president and vice president earlier this semester, the students set to work delivering on their platform of diversity and inclusion, sustainability, campus spirit, mental health and accessibility. Initiatives so far include a Mental Health Advocacy Week, a career-ready clothing drive and civil discourse training.

UC’s College-Conservatory of Music offers dozens of different general studies and arts elective courses in fall 2022. These credit-granting courses are open to all UC students and cover a wide range of topics including dance, movies and media, music and theatre arts!

UC student leaders, Taylor Morgan and Vu Pham, offer advice to incoming Bearcats. Morgan is this year's student body president while Pham is the student body vice president. Both are studying majors in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Callie Buchannan, a second-year political science student at UC, has been recognized as part of the 2023 ALL IN Student Voting Honor Roll. The ALL IN Student Voting Honor Roll awards college students doing outstanding work to advance nonpartisan democratic engagement at participating campuses.
