COVID-19 continues to rage, but so does cardiovascular disease

UC cardiologists are hoping to call attention to the dangers still posed by heart disease during February, which is American Heart Month. The first Friday of the month is designated National Wear Red Day by Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association to call attention to the risk heart disease presents for women. Heart disease has traditionally been the top killer of American women and men.

CCM alumni unite to create new musical 'With Beckett'

Two UC College-Conservatory of Music alums from the college’s theatre arts division come together to create a new Broadway musical. Jessica Hendy (BFA Musical Theatre, ‘93) and Richard Oberacker (BFA Acting, ‘93) are currently collaborating on With Becket, a one-woman show staring Hendy.

CCM Voice alumnus releases new album of Catalan music

Isaí Jess Muñoz (BM Voice, ’01) has found success as both a performer and an educator since his days at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music. After receiving a master’s and a doctoral degrees from Manhattan School of Music and Stony Brook University, he became an Associate Professor of Voice and Opera at the University of Delaware and the Vice President of the National Opera Association. Now, he is releasing his first solo album in over a decade with pianist Oksana Glouchko.
