Tritan is a BPA-free plastic. A team of University of Cincinnati researchers acquired 10 different Tritan bottles and detected BPA release from two kinds of Tritan bottles. The team then tested whether rinsing, handwashing or dishwashing removed the BPA from the Tritan bottles. The results of their study is available in the scholarly journal Chemosphere. Researchers at the University of Cincinnati, in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, have found that using ultrasound combined with RNA-loaded nanoparticles could help infiltrate the blood-brain barrier and deliver targeted, more effective treatment to brain tumors, while eliminating uncomfortable side effects.
