UC is attracting a growing number of first-gen students; their numbers jumped by 8% this fall on campus.

Just in: UC tops 50,000 students

The University of Cincinnati is anticipating a record fall enrollment with a projected 50,500 students. The growth represents a 5.39% increase and reflects the university's core values around academic excellence, access and inclusion, and affordability.

WVXU: Gambling addiction is on the rise in Ohio. Advocates are working to meet the demand

According to the most recent Ohio Gambling Survey, the number of people in Ohio with a problem gambling disorder tripled from 2017 to 2022 to more than 250,000. With sports betting legal in Ohio for more than a year, that trend is expected to continue.
