UC President Neville G. Pinto informed the campus community today that Valerio Ferme, PhD, dean of UC’s largest college, will begin as the university’s chief academic officer effective Aug. 3.

Three additional days off for UC employees

President Neville G. Pinto announced that UC employees will receive three additional days off in 2021 for going 'above and beyond' during the pandemic. The time away will take place during Winter Season Days.

Classes begin for increasingly diverse student body at UC

August 23, 2021

The first day of classes for the fall semester at the University of Cincinnati starts Monday, Aug. 23, and more than 46,700 students are expected to begin instruction with a more traditional fall term, focusing on in-person instruction and activities.
