The Carl H. Lindner College of Business’ Office of Inclusive Excellence held its annual Toast event for graduating Business Fellows last week at The Graduate Hotel Cincinnati. Business Fellows empowers and provides a community for underrepresented students to succeed as future business problem solvers.

Pride at Lindner begins fundraising drive for first-of-its-kind endowment at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business

It started with a mid-summer check-in between student leaders and faculty advisors. Pride at Lindner’s (PaL) student executive board and its faculty/advisor leadership met to discuss strategic planning and goals for the upcoming school year and beyond. According to PaL advisor Nadia Ibrahim-Taney, those present overwhelmingly expressed the need for student financial aid, specifically an endowed scholarship. Such was the genesis of the Pride at Lindner Scholarship and Programming Fund, an endowed scholarship that would allow the current PaL team to leave a legacy for current and future LGBTQ+ students.

Students from Carl H. Lindner College of Business’ Jumpstart program — a pipeline between UC Blue Ash and the business college that provides students with additional support toward transitioning into a bachelor’s degree program — experienced a whirlwind visit to Dallas during spring break 2024.

Pathway to Lindner program recognized for inclusive excellence

The University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business’ Withrow University High School of Business Pathway to Lindner program was recently recognized with the Inspiring Programs in Business Award from INSIGHT into Diversity magazine. The award recognizes university programs that support underrepresented students on their path to becoming future business leaders by providing support from recruitment through graduation.
