Researchers from the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center have received federal funding to develop user-friendly enrollment tools for Greater Cincinnati residents eligible for WIC, the federal assistance program called the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.

WVXU: How university co-op programs help reduce student debt

After the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a plan to cancel student debt, many borrowers will have to start paying back their loans later this year. UC started its co-op program more than 100 years ago and continues to create more experienced-based learning opportunities for its students, even helping some students graduate debt free.

CosmeticsDesign Europe: Pharmacy college launches new graduate certificate program

June 23, 2023

A new graduate program, headed by K.P. Ananth, will teach pharmaceutical scientists the development of cosmetic products using natural ingredients. UC has made the graduate certification program available to educate cosmetic manufacturing professionals in preventing contamination of cosmetic products produced with natural preservatives.

CPS All-Star Showcase raises funds, awareness

March 29, 2023

Now in its second year, the CPS All-Star Showcase raised $15,000 to assist students in need at CPS schools. The basketball competition, between CPS schools all-stars and other competitions, is a partnership between CPS and UC that raises funds for Project Connect, an organization of advocacy paired with specialized educational services and lifestyle enrichment opportunities for CPS students experiencing homelessness.
