DARPA Grand Challenge Take 2 takes place Oct. 8, 2005, in the southwestern United States. University of Cincinnati engineering professor Ernie Hall s robotics team hopes to be one of the finalists competing for $2 million in award money. Before that stage, however, UC has to pass a series of five tests, including technical reports and site visits.
