Hotly Contested Election is Cause for a Political Party

The UC junior is pulling out all the stops organizing ten bands, contests, games and bringing in food, banners and balloons for a Nov. 2 Big Top Tent party to celebrate the basic American freedom of voting.

"Cents-ible" Fashions by UC Students in Oct. 13 Runway Show

A penny saved will earn applause for College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning students who have created fun fashions using only $10 worth of thrift-store items each. The students' work will be displayed at a runway show at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at the 20th Century Theatre in Oakley.

UC Steers a Competitive Course: First Public University to Vie Head to Head with Auto-Design Elites

Later in September, there will be five. UC becomes the first public university in the country to take on private institutions in the most competitive design field in the world the transportation track.

Students Help a Drowning Island Stay Afloat

The summer break is no brake to the efforts of University of Cincinnati faculty and students at work on the Mediterranean island of Santorini. After years of having worked in other locales in Greece, the team was invited to this island paradise to help save it from a flood of tourists.
