Arts for all: CCM offers mix of online, in-person electives in fall 2020

These credit-granting courses are open to all UC students and cover a wide range of topics including dance, movies and media, music and theatre arts! Course offerings include options for in-person and online instruction.

CCM student wins silver medal in Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival

Congratulations to two UC College-Conservatory of Music students who are semi-finalists in the Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival, which is recognized as the premier event of its kind. When the virtual competition resumes in August, rising sophomore Caroline Habig will compete in the tuba student division and second-year master’s student Xianquan will compete in the tuba artist division.

The Wind Symphony at UC's College-Conservatory of music reunites on the Corbett Auditorium stage to present a socially-distanced virtual performance. Led by Director of Wind Studies Kevin Michael Holzman, the concert features works by Kevin Day, Andrea Tarrodi, Samuel Barber, Joaquin Rodrigo and Richard Strauss.

CCM Musical Theatre shares Freshman Showcase

The Freshman Musical Theatre class at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music marked the conclusion of their first year in the BFA program with a virtual showcase titled “Wake Up.” The performance features a variety of student-curated monologues and performances that were shot on location at Cincinnati theatres, parks and museums.
