What's Nano at UC?

UC created its Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology to offer promise of ground-breaking advances in physics, chemistry, materials science, electronics and medicine. The institute was developed through collaboration among UC s McMicken College of Arts & Sciences, the Colleges of Engineering and Medicine, and the Vice President for Research and Advanced Studies. Many nanotechnology activities are taking place at the University of Cincinnati.

UC Hurricane Katrina Relief Campaign

Students, faculty and staff at the University of Cincinnati may contribute to hurricane relief efforts at several on-campus locations. Funds raised through this effort will be provided to the Red Cross. UC is participating in a city-wide effort coordinated among Cincinnati's colleges and universities.

The University of Cincinnati s WISE Program Leads to WISE UC Undergraduate Women

A group of University of Cincinnati undergraduates participated this summer in UC s Research Experience for Women Undergraduates (REWU) program. Through this program, undergraduate women have been helping to solve complex problems in pediatrics, biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, medicine, pharmacy and engineering.
