CCM Prep offers summer arts workshops for high school students

High school students are invited to dive deeply into the arts at UC’s internationally renowned College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) this summer. CCM Preparatory and Community Engagement’s High School Arts Immersion workshops on June 16-29, 2019, offer unparalleled arts experiences to students interested in everything from musical theatre to jazz.

Musical America: CCM faculty artist featured in upcoming virtual concert

December 1, 2020

UC College-Conservatory of Music Professor of Flute Demarre McGill will join his brother, clarinetist Anthony McGill, and pianist Michael McHale for a performance featuring works for duos and trios at 5:30 pm on Dec. 6. The concert is hosted by the Shriver Hall Concert Series in Baltimore but will be broadcast on the venue’s website from Dec. 6 through Dec. 9.

CCM students and alumni create cross-cultural musical offering

In light of the pandemic, Junbo Zhou, a UC College-Conservatory of Music doctoral student in choral conducting, founded an organization to unite musicians from diverse backgrounds in creating universally-appealing art. With this in mind, World’s Harmony was born.
