The fourth episode of CCMONSTAGE Online is now available for on-demand viewing on CCM’s website and YouTube channel. "Travelogue" is a 90-minute long virtual performance featuring the CCM Ballet Ensemble. The digital performance premiered on March 20, 2021.

CCM announces the winners of its 2021 Opera Scholarship Competition

Twenty-three current and incoming students competed for five coveted full-tuition scholarships and $53,000 in additional awards during CCM's 2021 Opera Scholarship Competition. Six students won awards in this year’s competition, which was conducted virtually on Friday, March 5, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally broadcast on Friday, March, 19, "Together/Apart" is an hour-long virtual concert featuring the CCM Chamber Choir under the direction of accomplished new faculty member Joe Miller, who was named the director of CCM's lauded Choral Studies program in 2020.

College Gazette lists CCM in 10 best performing arts colleges in the US

The College Gazette recently released its picks for the top 10 universities for the performing arts in the United States. The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music ranked number two, just behind the University of North Texas and one spot ahead of Indiana University in Bloomington.

CCM Doctoral student chosen to judge international violin competition

Junqi (Sophie) Tang, current DMA Violin student at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music was recently invited to serve on a distinguished panel of judges for the 2021 Hong Kong International Violin Competition and Chamber Music Competition. Sponsored by the Asia Musicians Association, the competition attracts performers from all over the world including Germany, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Russia and more.

'Rising-star' student conducts in Cincinnati Opera's Digital Winter Festival

In April 2020, CCM doctoral student William R. Langley (MM Orchestral Conducting, ’18) was looking forward to a summer with the Cincinnati Opera as its assistant conductor. Of course, the company didn’t enjoy a regular summer season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is currently in the process of presenting a digital winter festival. Audiences can enjoy three performances with Cincinnati Opera participants and guest artists for free anytime before March 22.
