UC CAHS holds ribbon cutting for Interprofessional Community Clinic

The Interprofessional Community Clinic is a partnership with Kroger Health

On Monday, October 30th the University of Cincinnati College of Allied Health Sciences held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Interprofessional Community Clinic. The Interprofessional Community clinic is a partnership with Kroger Health and represents a significant commitment to providing comprehensive health care services to our community while fostering educational collaboration among health care professionals.

The Clifton Kroger Little Clinic will now refer patients to the Interprofessional Community Clinic to receive free services in physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, nutrition, audiology and speech-language pathology.

"The Interprofessional Community Clinic has been established with a clear purpose – to provide accessible and affordable health care services to everyone in our community while also providing experiential learning experiences for our students," says Interim Dean Charity Accurso, PhD. "Our vision is to create a healthier, happier community where individuals and families can receive comprehensive care in a welcoming and inclusive environment."

The clinic will be a hub of interprofessional collaboration, ensuring patients receive holistic care tailored to their unique needs.
