Next OnStage: CCM ensembles present a weekend of concerts Jan. 26-28

The UC College-Conservatory of Music opens it's 2024 performances with a weekend of major concerts presented Friday, Jan. 26, through Sunday, Jan. 29, in Corbett Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.
Hope Rising | 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26
The CCM Wind Symphony, led by Kevin Michael Holzman, welcomes faculty artist Margaret Tung, horn, and the Walnut Hills High School Wind Ensemble for an exciting evening of virtuosic music. Repertoire includes:
- PURCELL/STUCKY: Funeral Music for Queen Mary
- SHAW/FISHER: and the swallow
- LAURIDSEN: O Magnum Mysterium
- LIKHUTA: Sure-Fire Concerto for Horn and Wind Ensemble
- TIAN: Sinfonia

Love and Death | 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27
The CCM Philharmonia, led by Mark Gibson, rings in the new year with music inspired by Shakespeare's timeless romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Repertoire includes:
- BERLIOZ: Symphonic Movements from Roméo et Juliette, Op. 17 (1839)
- STRAUSS: Tod und Verklärung (Death and Transfiguration), Op. 24 (1889)
- PROKOFIEV: Excerpts from Romeo and Juliet (1935)

A Trip to Trinidad and Back | 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28
The CCM Steel Drum Band, led by Russell Burge, presents an evening of the traditional music of Trinidad, along with pop, folk and reggae compositions. Repertoire includes Maria by Cedric Joseph, arranged by Popernack; The Bee's Melody by Lord Kitchener arranged by Irvine; No Me Esqueca by Joe Henderson, Morning Birds by Blaine Klein and more.

UC Student Ticket Options
Current UC students can purchase up to two tickets for each CCM OnStage concert and show at the discounted rate of just $10 per ticket; the discounted rate for current CCM students is $5 per ticket. Learn more.
Student discounts do not apply to CCM development fundraising events.
Directions and Parking
CCM is located on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. For detailed driving directions, visit ccm.uc.edu/directions.
Parking is available in UC's CCM Garage (located at the base of Corry Boulevard off Jefferson Avenue) and additional garages throughout the UC campus. Effective July 1, 2023, all University of Cincinnati Parking Services locations will become cashless. Pay for parking securely with your credit/debit card. All major credit cards accepted.
CCM OnStage patrons can add pre-paid parking to their checkout carts when purchasing tickets. Pre-paid parking is date/performance specific. CCM Garage parking rates for a performance or special event is usually available for $10-15. Learn more about parking at UC's CCM Garage.
