TUC Mural Project Stretches Students' Skills

Alum Doesn t Play Around When it Comes to Toy Design

Design alum Jim Swearingen was the first person in Cincinnati to read the unreleased script for Star Wars in 1976. He went on to design the toys associated with the 1977 mega-blockbuster and hasn t slowed down since. Jim s latest toy designs are games and figures associated with Pirates of the Caribbean II: Dead Man s Chest.

International Film Festival Digs UC s 'EarthWorks': Project to Receive a 'Silver'

The prestigious Columbus International Film and Video Festival will soon recognize a UC project seeking to virtually rebuild ancient Native American earthen mounds. It s easier to appreciate the scope of UC s win when you realize that past Chris Award winners include ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the History Channel and National Geographic Television and Film.
