Michelin Co-op Provides Student a Well-Rounded Experience

His current co-op with tire maker Michelin is rounding out Lyle James education. During his current co-op quarter, Lyle is working on designs for a futurist concept car that includes the TWEEL (a wheel and tire in one) along with other projects that have already been put on public display.

DAAP Designs to Receive National Recognition

A Power-Full Challenge for UC Students: Build a Solar House

UC students are energized as they work on a solar house project to include functioning, sun-powered appliances and mechanics. When completed next year, the house will be transported to Washington, D.C., in a competition amongst the world s 20 leading university design programs.

Student Wins Chance at One in a Thousand Co-op Opportunity

This past summer, industrial design pre-junior Amy Johannigman was one of the youngest interns ever to work at Ford Motor Company, selected from among thousands of applicants. For her coming cooperative education quarter (starting in January 2007), she s won a coveted spot at Studio Red.
