In conjunction with recent neighborhood development in Uptown, a just-held UC student design studio envisioned Baby Boomer housing that would specifically link senior citizens to the amenities offered by the university and hospitals centered in the area.

Agenda for Solar Decathlon House Raising on April 16

On Monday, April 16, actual construction begins on a completely solar-powered house designed and built by University of Cincinnati students all part of a prestigious international competition. The house raising will be held in front of UC s Braunstein Hall.

Race Heats Up to Build World s Best Solar House

Twenty international universities were selected to participate in a contest to build the world s best solar house. Among them was the University of Cincinnati, and at UC, much of the planning for the house is complete. Now students are conducting prep work. Actual construction comes next.

Architectural Summer Camp Set to Run in July
