For many months now, University of Cincinnati students have been laying the groundwork in terms of design, engineering and business planning in order to build a solar house. Come Monday, April 16, they ll begin to literally lay the floor and raise the walls during special ceremonies.

In the past year, UC s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning was ranked best in the world by BusinessWeek as well as best in a national class by other magazine surveys. Now, the college opens its doors to the city to display its world-class works during an expo from June 5-9.
