FOX 19 features CCM E-Media’s ‘Hope After Hate’ project

Cincinnati news station FOX 19 interviewed UC College-Conservatory of Music E-Media Professor Hagit Limor about the innovative “Hope After Hate” project she is leading at CCM. Inspired by her own father’s experience during the Holocaust, Limor set out to create an immersive theatre and virtual reality project that shares his story with lessons to inspire action against acts of hatred and bigotry today.

CCM Trumpet alum tours USA with 'The Book of Mormon'

Returning after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, this nine-time Tony Award winning musical adds numerous new stops for its 2023-24 season.

CCM Flute student wins position with United States Army Fife and Drum Corps

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music congratulates fourth-year doctoral candidate Vincenzo Volpe on his recent appointment to the United States Army Fife and Drum Corps. This historical ensemble is a one-of-a-kind military band who perform in traditional uniforms, and is stationed at Fort Myer, Virginia.

CCM student wins USITT Make-up Design Award

CCM Dance presents excerpts from 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Swan Lake' plus new premiere on April 13-16

April 10, 2023

CCM Dance caps its 2022-23 season with “Fairies, Swans and Still Waters” April 13-16 in Corbett Auditorium. The program is centered around the world premiere of “Still Waters,” with choreography by Shauna Steele and music by DMA Composition student Grace Choi. Selections from two of the most beloved works of the classical ballet repertoire bookend the premiere: Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Tickets are available now through the CCM Box Office.

CSO Fanfare Project debuts new work performed by CSO/CCM Diversity Fellow

November 16, 2020

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Fanfare Project launched in May 2020 to commission and premiere new solo works in response to the coronavirus pandemic. It's shared new music from more than 12 composers so far, including a recently premiered Viola Fanfare by Grammy-winner and MacArthur "Genius Grant" recipient Rhiannon Giddens. The Stilson Institute at CCM trailblazes a new connection between historic voice pedagogy, modern sound-inspired modalities, science-based biomechanics and world-class faculty.

Students from the Media Production Division at UC's College-Conservatory of Music won five College Student Production Awards from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. CCM Media Production won more awards than any other program, college or university that competed in the Ohio Valley four-state region.
