The University of Cincinnati has published research in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that found the choroid plexus and cerebrospinal fluid play a key role in maintaining a pool of newly born neurons to repair the adult brain after injury.

UC research provides valuable comparison of anticoagulant drugs

Newly published research out of the University of Cincinnati and the University of California-Davis shows that direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) drugs are more effective and are more cost-effective than low molecular weight heparin for treating cancer-associated thrombosis. The research was published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

New research at UC examines that vaccine hesitancy and provides key insights into the behaviors and perceptions of the U.S. population during a critical time of the COVID-19 pandemic, just as vaccines were becoming more available.
