CCM soprano featured in new recording of John Corigliano’s 'The Ghost of Versailles'

Recent CCM graduate Teresa Perrotta (MM Voice, ’19; AD Opera Performance, ’21) has barely left CCM’s halls, but her successful career is already beginning. She is the starring voice on a new album of John Corigliano’s The Ghost of Versailles, recorded after the production’s premiere at the Glimmerglass Festival in 2019 during its appearance at the Château du Versailles itself later that year. CCM pianist awarded second prize in performance competition

Current CCM doctoral pianist Jiao Sun took home the second prize and $5,000 from the Washington International Piano Competition in early June. Sun, who attended Eastman before moving to Cincinnati for her Artist Diploma and doctorate, studies with CCM Associate Professor of Piano Soyeon Kate Lee. For her performance, Sun prepared a a full recital program of works by Brahms, Vine, Haydn, Prokofiev and Bach.
