On May 27, expert faculty from across the UC community will come together for the program, "U.S. Military Detainees: Issues of Law, Ethics and Politics." Three faculty will make presentations, and a question-and-answer period with the public will follow.

"Corporate Social Responsibility in the International Context" is the topic for the 18th annual Corporate Law Symposium, presented on Feb. 18 by the UC College of Law. This year's symposium is free and open to the public, with 3 hours of free Ohio or Kentucky CLE credit available to participants.

One of UC's most far-reaching assets celebrates 25 years of service to the world community when the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights at the UC College of Law hosts a special weekend of programming on Nov. 4-5. Highlights include a reunion of program graduates, a conference on "Lawyers in the Pursuit of Justice" and a celebratory dinner where Dr. Radhika Coomaraswamy, former UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women, will receive the William J. Butler Medal in Human Rights.
