CCTST KL2 Program Receives Five More Years of Funding

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) has received its third round of funding through the National Institute of Health (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences’ Clinical and Translational Award (CTSA) program. This $22.1 million award will enable the CCTST to continue supporting investigators in maximizing the impact of clinical and translational research to improve individual and population health in Greater Cincinnati and beyond.

Jim Obergefell (CECH, ’90) and his late husband, John Arthur, (Bus, ‘88) met at UC. Their love story would go all the way to the Supreme Court and make same-sex marriage legal throughout the United States.

Local company helps build more diverse workforce

John Glenski, president of Automation Plus in Cincinnati, was a panelist on a Control System Integrators Association session about workplace diversity, equity and inclusion. He touted the company's commitment to creating a more diverse workforce by engaging the rising generation, which led to a partnership with the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science.
