The fall season can be a prime time of year for sinus suffering, but Ahmad Sedaghat, MD, PhD, FACS, said it doesn't have to be that way. He is a professor of otolaryngology in the UC College of Medicine. He is also director of the division of rhinology, allergy and anterior skull base surgery. Sedaghat is an internationally recognized expert on chronic rhinosinusitis and allergies.

Progress to restore Cincinnati’s historical Black cemeteries

UC faculty members were featured on WVXU discussing the significance of two local Black cemeteries. A grant from the National Parks Service will ensure that two historical Black cemeteries in Cincinnati get the attention and preservation they deserve.

UC students Juliette Laracuente-Huebner and Brandon Mueller had been passing each other in the halls of Teachers-Dyer Complex for weeks before finding out they were third-cousins. The revelation came at the determination of their ASL instructor Deanna Herbers who had an inkling they were related from their sign language abilities.

UC Law hosted forum discussing election security, American democracy and civility

The American Bar Association Task Force for American Democracy brought a host of speakers to the University of Cincinnati College of Law as part of a country-wide listening tour. Former Homeland Security Security Jeh Johnson was the event's keynote speaker. He highlighted the importance of election security and the need to protect American democracy.
