UC College of Nursing hosts nurse-driven innovation webinar

For years, health care organizations have been called to support nurses in leading the development and adoption of innovative, patient-centered care models, and to engage nurses in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of medical and health devices, health information technology products and entrepreneurial opportunities. As professionals who have mastered soft skills, critical thinking, fierce conversations and task delegation, nurses are positioned to inspire, innovate and lead the transformation in fast-paced and dynamic health care environments.

How can nurses address hurdles such as lack of time, funding, continuing education and institutional support to focus on innovation?
