Media And Scientific Controversies Topic For Communication Colloquium

Matthew Nisbet from Ohio State will be the featured speaker when the UC Communication Department presents its Winter Research Colloquium on Jan. 27. The title of Nisbet's presentation is "The AG Biotech Debate: Understanding Cycles of Media Attention and Definition to a Scientific Controversy."

Limbach Receives NIH Grant

Congratulations to Patrick Limbach, associate professor of chemistry, whose NIH award was recently announced. He will receive $1,530,913 for his proposal titled Mass Spectrometry of Ribosomal RNA: Protein Intercations.
